AN EMBODIED PRACTICE

Start the week with a morning yoga practice where you will learn to ‘feel at home’ in Your body. Focus is on the mind-body connection and the sensations experienced as you are guided through Yoga poses, breath, meditation and rest.

This practice offers space to move gently, pausing to reflect on what it is your body needs in the moment. Whilst the pace is unhurried and supportive, the practice includes strength, balance and pause which invariably builds resilience over time. For those who want to leave the practice feeling deeply held and nourished.

Carina - Chair Assisted Yoga - Group class

PCYC Carindale - 27 Narracott Street, Carina

Chair assisted yoga classes for those who value building personal strength, balance and connection to self and others. Enjoy the benefits of yoga with the assistance of a chair for support as needed. The focus of this class is based on confidence in everyday movements, rehabilitation and falls prevention.

Wear comfortable clothing for ease of movement. Bring a water bottle in warmer months.

This group meets for Morning Tea after class 3 times per term.

Do I need to wear ‘yoga clothes’?

Nope. No fancy gear or leggings required. Simply wear something that is comfortable to move in.

You’ll just need to bring a Yoga mat.

Can I pay per class?

For your 1st class, Yes. Because of limited spaces available for each class, only term passes are available.

Can I bring a friend to class?

Quite possibly, yet please text me on 0432 024 585 to confirm availability.
